How do you open doors for other women to succeed? What has made the most difference to you in your career to date?

Simply put, I will always take risks on women that I believe in. Throughout my career, I have brought women creatives onto my team when I see that they have high potential even if their work doesn’t yet reflect their talent level. Once I bring them on board, I ensure that they are set-up for success and that they know they have my support. And looking back, some of the most talented and best hires I’ve had have been those women.


Hannah Fishman is a dynamic and engaging ECD at DDB New York with over 14 years of creative and leadership experience. In the last year, she led creative on VMA’s Self-Acceptance Speech for Clean & Clear, which was the most talked-about spot during the 2015 awards. She has worked on brands across the JNJ portfolio and on other clients including Electorlux, Dove, Samsung, AXE and Pfizer. In the last year alone, she was included in Adweek’s Top 100 list and has won the “Directors Who Do It All” and “Top women in Digital” Cynopsis Award.
